About CTC

"Las Vegas Best Teen Metal Band"
-Vegas Rocks Magazine
"F**king Awesome!"
-(Joel Smith) DJ Demons Cry - Live From Hell Radio

From playing famous venues in front of sold-out audiences to composing and releasing their own music, indie metal brothers Control the Chaos have built an incredible resume which helped skyrocket them to one of the more recognizable names and respected bands across the global, underground music scene.

With dedication and an incessantappetite for success, the youngsters held a rapid fire performance schedule in 2009, playing 152 shows in less than 12 months, all while still attending high school.

Coupled with a strategic marketing vision, they quickly secured the #1 internet search return for best young metal band west coast, increasing CTC’s global fan reach and firmly establishing their place among the internet’s most beloved faces of adolescent heaviness. With explosive showmanship and tight orchestration, Control the Chaos’ sound and presence was nothing short of “fluid and hot” – terms that coined the band’s own “Vegas Molten Metal” genre.

Intentionally staying independent, the group’s non-affiliations allowed them to freely integrate into the intricate entertainment fibers across the country. From Los Angeles to New York, the band’s notoriety grew beyond the west coast capturing attention from executives at Universal Music, NBC, industry scouts and taste makers within the RIAA. Trusted advisors, supporters and entertainers from the worlds of music and television including Rock, Metal, Punk, Reggae, Hip-Hop, R&B and Jazz notables quickly became part of the band’s DNA.

These influences would mold their sound and enhance their performance.

In the back office, CTC’s business acumen and relationship agility fueled an inspirational movement and business model that others would come to admire and borrow from.

Teaming with legendary audio engineer and executive producer Dave Hampton (Prince, Herbie Hancock, Marcus Miller), the quartet released their critically acclaimed super-single “Rise Again” recorded at the iconic Village Studios in Los Angeles, CA.   Grinding in the hit making halls of  Studio D, the band and their business team would assemble the foundation for what would eventually become a global platform for independent art known as iTCHY Metal Entertainment. IME would reinforce CTC’s success, and the band would lead a community of over 60 global artists across multiple genres attracting dozens of global business partners to their indie effort.

Along with their performance accolades, the young rockers secured the prestigious award for Best Teen Metal Band at the First Annual Vegas Rocks Music Awards, eventually peaking their early run as a 2010 contender for “Best Heavy Metal Performance” in the 55th Annual Grammy Awards.

The band continues as a captivating, energetic force staying just as intentional, experimental and collaborative. Although the future has yet to fully unfold, Control the Chaos is definitely one to watch. With Las Vegas being the ultimate backdrop where smart wagers and high-risk stakes can pay-off in abundance, one can surely bet that CTC will continue to grow. From garage to Grammy, these boys do it right…
